I've been following Bret Mounts' case since it first came to light, and something that's been bugging me is the deactivation of his Facebook account. It was deactivated a week after he disappeared—just seems kinda odd, right? I've read elsewhere that his social media had no other activity, but who deactivated it? Did someone else have access, or was it somehow done automatically? Facebook usually doesn’t deactivate accounts on its own, unless there's inactivity for a long time or another reason.
I keep wondering if it could offer any clues about his whereabouts or what happened to him. Maybe someone who had access to his account might know more than they're letting on, or maybe it’s linked to his disappearance in some way. It’s just another piece of this puzzling case that doesn’t quite make sense to me. Thoughts?
Hello everyone. I've been following Bret Mounts' case from Ohio, and I'm curious about something that hasn't been discussed much. Has anyone looked into why his Facebook account was deactivated a week after he disappeared? It seems odd, especially considering his family didn't mention doing it. Did Bret have access to his account, or could it suggest that someone else might have had knowledge of his login details? I wonder if this leads to any digital traces that investigators might have looked into. If anyone's heard of similar cases where social media activity played a role, let me know! Hoping we get some answers soon.
