Just read about Sonia Gonzalez's case, and I've got some thoughts on how often cases like hers take so long to be reported. It was over a month before the police were notified of her disappearance. Makes me wonder if there's something about the home situation or if she had gone unnoticed for a while, maybe assumed she was staying elsewhere. It's troubling that nothing about what she was wearing or any distinguishing marks has been released. Could it be there's a gap in the reporting because of her family situation, or is this just oversight? It feels like during the initial days when someone goes missing, every single detail counts. Hoping her family and friends are holding up okay during this time... it must be incredibly difficult not having answers.
