I can't stop thinking about Chad Landon Covey's case and the gap between his last sighting in September and the report being filed in January. I know every missing person case is different, but four months seems like a long time. Does anyone have insights into why there might have been such a delay in officially reporting him missing? It seems like that gap could complicate gathering crucial evidence. I'm wondering if the family had any theories or if there were any unusual circumstances leading up to his disappearance that might have contributed to the delay. Any thoughts or similar situations people have seen in other cases?
