Has anyone else been following the case of John Vernon Shivar? I noticed that there haven't been any updates in a while, and I’m curious about what led to the relatively late notification to law enforcement, nearly two months after he was last seen. It seems a bit unusual, doesn’t it? I wonder if there are specific protocols or circumstances about such cases that can result in delays like this. Also, it's been a significant amount of time since the case was officially opened in March 2026. I'm hoping there are still ongoing efforts by the authorities in Wilmington, but it makes me wonder what steps are being taken now behind the scenes to find him. Does anyone have insights into how these types of cases are typically handled when it comes to search efforts and investigations for adults?
