I can’t stop thinking about the three kids who were in the house during this horrific event. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and confusion they must have felt. My thoughts go out to them as they navigate this trauma, which is far too great for children to bear. It's a small relief to know they’re now in safe hands with Family Services, but I hope they receive all the support and counseling they need in the days and years to come. If anyone else has info on how the community is rallying to support these kids—or if there are any trusted local resources we can donate to—please share. They’ve lost so much, and any effort to help them rebuild their lives feels crucial right now.
