I recently came across the Saunders Cousins case again, and it got me thinking about the community response and the role of local support networks. It's just gut-wrenching to know that Tina and her little ones were taken so violently. I've been wondering how the local community came together in the aftermath of this tragedy. Did they organize vigils or support groups for those impacted by domestic violence? I truly hope there were some resources and support systems put in place for the surviving family members and friends. It's crucial that we keep conversations going about how communities can help provide those in need with the resources to safely escape dangerous situations. If anyone has information about what Caribou did in response, I'd be interested to hear. It's essential we learn from the past to better address these issues today.
