Is anyone else curious about the locations where Gene's body parts were found, and why the thighs were never recovered? It seems rather odd to me. If Vella buried these parts near the hunting camp, wouldn’t she remember where they all were? Could there be a reason she didn’t disclose the location of those specific pieces, or is it possible they were unknowingly moved by animals? The way this case unfolded, with such a tragic background of domestic abuse, is deeply unsettling. It makes me wonder how the investigators decided to pause the search. My heart goes out to Gene's and Vella's families, as they must still be seeking closure on so many levels. If anyone has any insights or similar cases where parts were intentionally left out, it would be interesting to hear some theories or expert opinions.

I was reading up on the Gene Gogan case, and I'm absolutely stunned by the details surrounding Vella's arrest in 2008. It’s disconcerting to think about the long-term impact of her previous actions on her life. Shoplifting might seem trivial in comparison, but it makes me wonder about the kind of support she had (or didn't have) during her reintegration into society after serving time. It seems like a cry for help more than anything else. It's so important for individuals who've been through such trauma to receive continuous guidance and support. I feel for both Gene and Vella's families, as they’ve undoubtedly faced a lot of judgment and pain over the years. Curious to hear others' thoughts on this.
