Hey everyone, I've been reading through a lot about the tragic case of Roger Day Jr. and Victor Sheldon, and it's all just so unsettling. One thing that's been on my mind is the role of Eric Hamel in all of this. It's hard not to wonder what drives someone so young, just 19 years old, to commit such a violent act. I mean, to be convinced to take a life for any amount of money is horrifying, but $2,000? It really makes you think about the influence and desperation involved. It's easy to condemn Eric, no doubt, but there's also an element of tragedy in how a kid becomes entangled in something so heinous. Not to mention, the ripple effect on both the victims' families and his own. Roger’s and Victor’s families will never be the same, and neither will Hamel's. I guess I’m just feeling a bit reflective today. There's a lot to dissect here about accountability and the pressures that might push someone over the edge. Every time I read about this case, my heart goes out to all those affected. We shouldn't forget Roger and Victor and the good they brought into the world despite this act of violence. Hoping for peace and healing for everyone touched by this.

Hey everyone, I wanted to talk about the recovery of the weapon in this case. I find it intriguing that Eric Hamel ended up guiding the police to the revolver, which was such a critical piece of evidence. It's chilling to think about burying something with the knowledge of the devastation it caused, and then eventually leading police back to it. I’m wondering what might have motivated him to reveal its location. Was it guilt, pressure from the investigation, or maybe something else entirely? This case is such a tragedy for all involved, and the loss of Roger Day Jr. and Victor Sheldon impacted so many people. I can only imagine the pain their families endure every day. Let’s continue discussing and sharing insights to keep their memories alive. What do you all think about the retrieval of the firearm and how vital it was for the prosecution's case? - CuriousMe64
