I've been following this case closely and wanted to bring up something that struck me. It's hard not to feel overwhelmed with sadness when thinking about Alivia's plans and ambitions. At 18, she was on her way to making her dreams a reality, studying nursing and working at Aroma Joe's to make it all happen. To think she was taken away at the very beginning of her journey is just gut-wrenching. It makes me wonder how many moments and memories we never got to see her create. Alivia seemed to have such a full life—surrounded by family, sharing joyful days at the lake, and cherishing her time with Derrick. Her friends and family meant everything to her, and they’re the ones left trying to fill this empty place in their lives. My heart goes out to everyone who knew her and who has to navigate this world without her bright presence. What a profound loss.

Does anyone else find it chilling how quickly a simple landlord-tenant disagreement escalated to such a horrific outcome? I was just reading about Alivia Welch and realized how everything unraveled in just a matter of moments. It breaks my heart to think that Derrick and Alivia's lives were cut short over something so seemingly trivial. They were just starting out, especially Alivia, who had so many aspirations and dreams in the nursing field. It's unsettling to know the police were right there, yet left without intervening. I can't imagine the pain Susan and Brayden carry from that day. My thoughts are with Alivia’s family. It's reminders like these that show the importance of weighing how seriously we handle conflicts and disputes.
