I’ve been following the tragic case of Michael Kitchen and Heidi Pratt, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact it’s had on their family, especially Michael’s five siblings. Losing a brother in such a violent manner must have been a nightmare for Inez, Wanda, Sandra, Bruce, and Brent, not to mention their parents, Robert and Gloria. I read that Michael was a lively person who cherished time with his family and loved motorcycle rides. I hope their close-knit bond helps them find some peace and maintain the spirit of who Michael and Heidi were in their joyful moments. It’s just so gut-wrenching to think about the void this tragedy has left in their lives. I really hope the community continues to support them through this pain. ?

I've been thinking a lot about the heroic efforts of the Oakfield Fire Department and first responders on that tragic day in 2013. It's easy to overlook how challenging their jobs must have been, arriving at a scene of such destruction and loss. It pains me to imagine what they went through, knowing Michael Kitchen and Heidi Pratt were inside. I'm thankful for their bravery and dedication; I can't imagine how hard it must be to face situations like that. They played a crucial role in piecing together the events that morning, and their investigation helped bring justice for Michael and Heidi. Though nothing can fill the void left by their tragic loss, I hope the support of the community gives strength to everyone affected.

I was thinking about the incredible resilience the families of Michael Kitchen and Heidi Pratt have shown throughout this tragic ordeal. Even after such a devastating loss, Michael's siblings and parents have continued to keep his memory alive within the Oakfield community. It's not easy to move forward after such an act of violence, but from what I've read, they've managed to support each other and remain a tight-knit family. Their strength really highlights how important family bonds can be in times of grief. I hope they continue to find peace and comfort in the cherished memories they have of Michael and Heidi. ? Does anyone know if they have any community events or memorials that honor them? Would love to learn more about how the community continues to remember them.
