Just came across some updates on the Heidi Pratt and Michael Kitchen case, and it's both chilling and deeply sad to think about what happened to them. I grew up near Oakfield, and I remember when this terrible event took place—it shook our small community to its core. I attended one of the "Mike and Heidi Victory Ride" events last year, and it was beautiful to see how their friends and family turned a tragedy into a celebration of their lives, but the sadness was palpable. I’m curious if anyone has more information on the investigation leading up to Davis's capture. Was there any evidence that tied him to the crime beforehand, or was it mostly eyewitness accounts? It's hard not to feel a sense of anger and confusion about how this happened. My heart goes out to Heidi and Michael’s families. They were clearly beloved by many, and no one should have to endure such a senseless loss.
