Just thinking about Bonnie’s bravery in her final moments gives me chills. Despite her injuries, she managed to call 911 and alert help. The resilience she showed in expecting to survive and wanting justice for herself and Eric is truly powerful. My heart goes out to her family and friends who must have been devastated by the loss of such a courageous woman. It’s so tragic that the life she shared with Eric was cut short over something so senseless. I hope communities can come together to tackle the issues that lead to such violence, so no other family has to endure this pain. Anyone else have thoughts on how immediate communities can protect vulnerable members from the horrors of drug-related crimes?
