I've been reading about Marlon Turner's case, and what strikes me is how tight-lipped the neighborhood seems to be. Understandably, folks might be scared to speak out, especially given the circumstances surrounding the area back then. But it makes me wonder how much information is out there just waiting to be unlocked. Sometimes even the smallest detail can piece together the bigger puzzle. It's so frustrating knowing the killer is still out there—and it must be so painful for Marlon's friends and family to live without answers. I truly hope someone finds the courage to come forward, even if it's anonymously, and gives the detectives something to work with. The community still has the power to make a difference, and we owe it to Marlon to ensure he’s not forgotten. Anyone else have thoughts on why this case remains unsolved after all these years?
Hi everyone,
I came across Marlon Turner's case recently, and it just struck me how these unsolved cases leave families in limbo for years. I was thinking about the $25,000 reward the MPD is offering for any information leading to an arrest and conviction. I hope it encourages someone to come forward. Money isn't everything, but sometimes it can motivate a witness or someone with key info to finally speak up.
Has anyone heard of a reward like this actually helping solve a case? I'm curious about its effectiveness and if there's anything more that can be done to incentivize witnesses or community members to come forward. It's clear the community's help is crucial, and I'm rooting for justice to be served for Marlon and his family.
Would love to hear any thoughts or similar examples. Let's keep his case alive in our discussions and hope for a breakthrough.
Stay safe, everyone!
