I’ve been following Mckenzie Patton's case closely and something that's been on my mind is the connection to Plant City. Why did she supposedly head there? I wonder if investigators have managed to talk to the friend she might've met. Plant City isn't too far from Winter Haven, but it's peculiar there's no mention of what kind of relationship she had with this person. It would be helpful to know if there was any tension at home or in her usual social circle that makes it more likely she would've sought refuge with someone else. Also curious if anyone's seen or heard anything about this friend she might be with—did they come forward on their own or were they tracked down by the police? Any local insights would definitely be valuable. Let's keep Mckenzie's name out there in the hope we can piece together a timeline!
