Hey everyone, I'm sure many of you have been following the tragic events in Lewiston, and I wanted to share something about Artie Strout that really touched me. I've been hearing stories from the memorial about how he used to light up a room with his infectious laugh. It got me thinking about how laughter and joy can leave such a lasting impact, even in the darkest of times. Artie had this incredible way of bringing people together over a game of pool. I heard from a friend who attended the memorial at Legends Pool Hall that people shared tales of his epic comebacks during games. They described how he'd pretend to lose, only to strategically pull off a win, leaving everyone in stitches. It’s heartwarming to know that in a moment when everyone feels such heavy loss, memories of his humor and spirit provide a little comfort. I can't possibly imagine what his family is going through right now, but the strength they’ve shown in advocating for change is truly inspiring. I hope our community continues to rally around them, offering support in any way we can. Artie’s legacy of kindness and laughter is a reminder for us all to cherish every moment with our loved ones. Sending love and strength to all affected. [Username]
