I’ve been following this case since it first broke, and my heart goes out to Dale’s friends, family, and colleagues at the hospital. What a devastating loss. I’m curious if anyone has more information about how Dale's colleagues at Rumford Hospital are coping. I imagine losing someone like her, who apparently was such a pillar in her department, must be such a shock. Being in the medical field myself, I understand how tight-knit these teams can become. Any insights on how they’re handling it, or ways the community is supporting them?
I just can't wrap my head around how something like this could happen. By all accounts, Dale Gaudreau seemed like an incredibly compassionate person, dedicating two decades to serving others as a registered nurse. I didn’t know her personally, but I can tell from the way her colleagues at Rumford Hospital speak about her that she touched countless lives. How devastating for those she worked with every day and the patients she cared for. It’s alarming to think about the impact this will have on the hospital staff and community. Does anyone have any insight into how they cope in the face of such a shocking loss? I can't imagine the void this will leave. My heart goes out to everyone affected.
