I recently came across the story of Deputy Sheriff Anthony Korizek and couldn't help but think about the sheer bravery he displayed that fateful day in 1904. It's astonishing and profoundly sad to reflect on how even within the supposedly secure walls of a courthouse, danger can lurk. The detail about Gravelle concealing a gun under a lunch tray is just chilling. How did that happen? Was there any investigation into how Gravelle got the weapon? It made me wonder about the security measures back then and how this incident might have changed the protocols. My heart goes out to Deputy Korizek's family for their loss. He truly was a hero, and his actions that day must never be forgotten.
