It's been nearly two decades since Willie Best was tragically killed, and it still haunts me that the case remains unsolved. I was recently reading up on some old cold cases and stumbled upon Willie's story. One thing that stands out to me is the time of the incident—Saturday evening, around 6:13 pm. It makes me wonder if someone saw something unusual that night. People might have been out for dinner, or maybe returning home from their day's activities. I often think about how even the smallest detail might be crucial in solving this case. It's a long shot, but perhaps somebody remembers something odd or out of place that evening on Eaton Road. I sincerely hope that, with continued efforts and maybe the right piece of information, Willie’s family will find the answers they so desperately need. If you or someone you know was in the area around that time, even a faint recollection might prove vital. Please consider reaching out to Detective James King or through the anonymous hotlines. Willie's case deserves resolution, and his family deserves peace.
