Has anyone ever looked into the surveillance footage from nearby businesses or traffic cameras on Naylor Road around the time Jamar Parker was shot? It seems like the early morning hours might not have a lot of witnesses around, and those cameras might have captured something useful. I'm curious if the detectives have been able to track anything down or if there's been any word on footage being reviewed. It really must be so frustrating for his family not having answers after all these years. I hope they can get the closure they need. If anyone knows more about the investigation on this angle, please share.
Hey everyone, I've been following the discussion about Jamar Parker's case and was particularly struck by how important the community's role is in solving these kinds of cases. It's really tough to think about how this could have happened in a neighborhood that people call home, and how it still remains unsolved despite efforts from law enforcement.
I was reading about Detective Seamus Brackett and Detective Charles Fultz, who are working tirelessly on this investigation. It seems like they're really committed to solving this, but it's clear they need more support from the public. I can't imagine how challenging it must be for Jamar’s family to wait for justice to be served, and it makes me think about how crucial it is for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Even the smallest piece of evidence could be the breakthrough needed.
Does anyone know if there have been any community meetings or gatherings organized to discuss ways to aid the investigation? Sometimes just increasing awareness and talking about it can jog people's memories and encourage them to share what they know. Also, has anyone heard if the MPD has considered more public outreach or events to keep this case active in people's minds? It's so important we don't let this story fade away.
