I haven't seen much discussion about Lieutenant Wooley's statement regarding the lack of active searches for additional suspects. It's puzzling, isn't it? Wouldn't the presence of multiple victims usually suggest more complexity in the incident? Some folks around here might jump to conclusions, but I'm holding onto hope that the investigation will bring clear answers soon. It's a difficult time for the community, and Thaddeus Merritt's family deserves closure. My thoughts are with everyone affected. Has anyone heard any updates from local news or other sources?

It's so upsetting to hear about the tragic loss of Thaddeus Merritt. What really gets me is that this happened right near the Billings Police Department headquarters. You'd think such a central and presumably secure area would deter such violence, but it just shows you can never really predict where these senseless acts will occur.
