Hey everyone, I just wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind since hearing about Jeremiah Marker's case. It's haunting to think about how something like this could happen in what many consider a tight-knit community like Bonner. I've heard a few locals mention that there have been rising tensions in the area lately, not necessarily related to Jeremiah, but it makes me wonder if there's something bigger at play here. It's eerie to think of how one argument could escalate so tragically. I can’t even begin to imagine what Jeremiah’s family must be going through right now. It’s important we lean on each other and keep supporting those close to the situation. Hoping for some clarity and justice soon.
Sadly I'm quite certain this was a meth related incident. Not saying Jeremiah was on meth, as I did not know him. But Ron most certainly had an issue. I was not surprised when I saw he was arrested for this.
Hi everyone,

I’ve been following the tragic case of Jeremiah Marker and wanted to discuss an aspect that’s been on my mind lately—the role of community safety in Missoula, especially in areas like Bonner. It sounds like the whole community is reeling from this loss, and I can only imagine how devastated Jeremiah’s family and friends must feel.

There’s been mention of an altercation leading up to the shooting, and it makes me wonder about conflict resolution resources available in the area. Do you think more could be done to prevent situations from escalating to such a tragic level? What about neighborhood initiatives or community policing efforts? Would love to hear anyone's thoughts or experiences with similar initiatives in your own communities.

Thinking of Jeremiah’s loved ones as they navigate this unimaginable time. It’s so important that we stick together and support one another through such devastating events.
