Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the John Davis case, and something that stands out to me is the location where his truck was found. Mount Vernon is roughly halfway between Houston and Dallas, which seems like a strange place to abandon a truck if the final destination was Dallas. I’m curious if anyone here has thoughts on whether that location might suggest a reason for the truck to be left there. Could it have been planned? Or maybe something unexpected happened on the way? Has anyone here come across any insights into John Davis's case? I find it so odd that a whole truck could be missing for months and then just turn up at a truck stop like that. Given the heavy traffic and surveillance usually present at those stops, I'm really curious if they've checked any security footage from around that time. Especially wondering if there were any sightings of John or anything unusual caught on camera. It's concerning to think there might be witnesses who saw something but haven't come forward yet. What do we think might have happened during that critical period before the truck was located?
