I've been following Kumash Deonauth's case closely, and I keep thinking about the trend of drive-by shootings and how they add another layer of terror to communities. The fact that a dark-colored SUV was involved—possibly a Chevrolet—and that it seems to have been a targeted attack just raises so many questions. Was this about a personal vendetta? Or mistaken identity? It’s hard to comprehend how those responsible can carry on without any accountability.
My heart goes out to Kumash's family and friends as they wait for justice. It must be incredibly frustrating to know how crucial even minor details could be in solving this case. The $25,000 reward is substantial, but it hasn't brought forth enough information yet. I really hope someone who knows something finds the courage to come forward. Let’s keep sharing and talking about this until there's a breakthrough.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Kumash Deonauth case and wanted to share some thoughts about the location aspect. I used to live not too far from the 6500 block of Eastern Avenue, NE, and it’s generally a quiet area. It makes me wonder if the shooter knew Kumash would be there at that time or if they were following him. It just seems too random, otherwise, especially at 1 a.m. when you'd expect fewer people to be around to witness anything.
I can't stop thinking about his family and how difficult it must be to deal with so many unanswered questions. If anyone around that area saw something or even remembers hearing something unusual that night, please speak up. Even the smallest detail might be what’s needed to crack this open. It’s not easy to recall something from so many years ago, but let’s help the authorities if we can. They have that anonymous tip line, so it’s safe to share anything you know. Let’s keep hoping for justice for Kumash and his loved ones.
