Just saw another discussion thread about the tragedy involving Bekm and Nicholas Bacon, and wanted to share a thought that’s been on my mind. I came across a post about the beautiful memorial fund set up at US Bank to support Lacy and the family. It’s a reminder of how incredible community support can be during unimaginable times. I can't imagine the pain Lacy and the entire family must be feeling, losing both a precious baby and a young father in one day. It must be a comfort to know that people around her are doing what they can to help shoulder some of the burden.
Also, I couldn’t stop thinking about the location of the funeral services—the Amity LDS Stake Center. It’s a part of Boise where many find solace and community; I hope it provided a little peace amidst the storm for everyone who attended. Sending strength and sympathy to all involved as they navigate life after such an enormous loss. Anyone else picked up on little details that have stuck with you? It’s the small things that just keep resurfacing as I think about this case.
I just stumbled across the case of young Bekm and his father Nicholas Bacon, and it really got me thinking about the vital role community support plays in times of unimaginable grief. The Meridian community seemed to rally around the family in such a powerful way, establishing a memorial fund and attending the services. It must have provided some comfort to the family knowing they weren't alone in their sorrow.
It’s so important that we, as a society, continue to offer support to those who are grieving, whether through memorial funds, attending services or simply offering a listening ear. Events like this are a stark reminder of how fragile life can be and how we need to cherish those around us. Sending all my thoughts to the Bacons and everyone affected. If anyone knows how the family is doing now, or if there's still a way to support them, please share. ❤️

The memorial fund established at US Bank is a testament to the community's kindness, aiming to ease some of the burden the family is facing.
It’s truly touching to see people rallying around Lacy and the rest of the family. It serves as a reminder of the importance of community support networks in times of unimaginable grief. If anyone else is from the area, I’d love to hear about any memorial events or gatherings that might be happening in honor of Bekm and Nicholas.
