Has anyone else been following the case of Mark Anthony Reece? The detail that really sticks out to me is the timeline for when his case was officially reported. It's quite puzzling that the missing person report wasn't filed until four years after he was last heard from. You'd think getting this on the record would have been a priority, especially since he vanished from his residence on tribal land, which I imagine adds layers to the jurisdiction and investigation process. If his case was added to NamUs right after this report, could there have been issues with jurisdictional cooperation or simply an oversight? It's just such a long gap—does this suggest someone new was advocating for him in 2026, or did his situation somehow slip through the cracks all that time? Anyone have thoughts on why this delay might have happened or seen other cases with similar lapses?

Did anyone see the recent update on Mark Reece’s case being added to NamUs? Four whole years since he was last in contact—you’d think there would’ve been something before now! It's really strange that there isn’t even a mention of any vehicle or transportation method he might have used. You’d assume that if someone goes missing, there might be clues like a car left behind or something, right? It’s unsettling that it took so long to get any recognition in official records. Has anyone else noticed how cases on tribal land sometimes get less attention? Wondering if that’s why this one took so long to process officially. Let’s hope there’s some movement with TPD on this; maybe getting into NamUs will help boost the search efforts. Anyone local hear anything more from their side?
