Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Viola Marie Burgess and couldn't help but wonder about the role her residence played in her disappearance. It strikes me as odd that the manager of her building reportedly hadn't seen her for such a long period before any alarms were raised. Are there any protocols in place for checking on elderly residents, especially those living alone? You'd think there'd be someone, like a neighbor or building staff, who might have noticed her absence. It's baffling that the gap between the last sighting and the missing persons report was so wide. Makes you question the accountability and community spirit in these living situations. Maybe others have insights or relevant experiences? The more we can discuss these systems and push for changes, the better support we can create for our most vulnerable neighbors. Thoughts?
