Hey everyone, I've been following the Kamiah case closely and something that's been on my mind is the location of the crime—the Sundown Motel. This place has apparently been a fixture in the town for a long time, and it's so sad that it’s now linked to such a devastating event. I can’t help but wonder how its reputation might change after July 19th, and how the local community is dealing with that. It’s hard to imagine the shock and grief that Maden McAnear’s family and friends must be going through. In small towns, everyone knows everyone, and I read that Sheriff Jason Davis emphasized how tightly knit Kamiah is. I hope the community comes together to support Maden’s loved ones and all those affected by this horrific act. It must be incredibly tough to process.
