I wanted to talk about the role of witnesses in the case of Lamont Brandon Rogers. It's really disturbing to think about what those people went through, seeing such a brutal act unfold. They had the guts to stand up and testify despite the trauma they experienced. Their courage played a huge part in the conviction. The fact that none of them could back up Timmothy Morgan’s claim of being punched shows the importance of their testimonies in getting to the truth. This kind of bravery is so important in seeking justice, and I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for them. My thoughts are with Lamont's loved ones and every witness trying to come to terms with what they experienced.
