It's really difficult to wrap my head around what Ariana's children must be going through right now. Imagining how Denaji, Shundiin, Denzel, and Sitka are coping without their mom is just so heavy. Losing a parent in such a violent way must be absolutely devastating, not to mention the trauma of one of the kids arriving home to witness that horrific scene. I sincerely hope they have a strong support system around them—friends, family, counselors—who can help carry some of this unimaginable burden. It's such a sorrowful reminder of how destructive addiction can be, not just to those indulging in it but to everyone around them. Sending love and strength to Ariana's family and her children. May they find comfort in their memories of her warmth and kindness.
