Has anyone else noticed the discrepancies in the Healeys' statements about the shooting? It's really puzzling to me how the eyewitness accounts from Edward and Christine Healey seem to contradict each other in certain areas, yet nothing further was pursued legally. From what I gather, their stories don't quite align, which makes it harder to understand how the decision of self-defense was reached without more investigation. I'm not trying to contest the authorities' conclusions without reason, but shouldn't such inconsistencies warrant a closer look? I can't imagine how difficult this must be for Karrie and everyone who knew Dr. Landseadel, trying to find closure while navigating through these unanswered questions. It leaves a lot of room for doubt and concern about whether justice was truly served. Curious to hear what others think about this aspect of the case.
