Has anyone heard any updates on the Margaret "Peggy" Clarke case? I was reading about it the other day, and it just made me think about how little we take our safety for granted until something like this shakes a whole community. Peggy was 75 and to think someone could target her in such a violent way is beyond comprehension. I didn't know her personally, but from what I've gathered, she was quite cherished in Newport. I've seen some discussions around town suggesting that she might have known her attacker, which makes it even more chilling if true. Sending love to everyone in Peggy's circle. They must be going through an incredibly tough time right now. If anyone has theories or more information, please share. I feel like our community needs to rally together to help find justice for her.
