Has anyone looked into the specific route Aaron might have taken if he was indeed planning to head to the Grand Canyon from Iowa City? I know it's been a long time, but maybe someone along that path remembers seeing him or picked up a hitchhiker matching his description. I wonder if authorities have collected any eyewitness accounts or looked into bus and travel records from that time. Also, that stopover in Boulder to meet the girl seems like it could be another clue. If only we knew more about her identity or Aaron's connection to Boulder, it might shed some light on what happened after he left Arizona. It's such a long shot with the time that has passed, but every little detail counts when you're trying to piece together an old puzzle.
Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the Aaron Michael Pate case, and there's a curious detail that stands out to me. Why wasn't he reported missing until over a year later? That's such a long gap, and it makes me wonder how this might've impacted the investigation from the start. This delay could mean missing out on critical witnesses or leads in that initial window of time. Does anyone know why this happened or if there’s more to the story here? It just makes it even tougher for the family all these years later when you think about what might've been lost in those 13 months. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone's seen similar cases with delayed reporting!
