Gregory's death has been weighing heavily on my mind lately, especially since I often walk my dog along those same streets. The idea that someone could be targeted in what looks like a robbery gone wrong is just so unsettling. I can't even begin to imagine what his family must be going through, losing him so senselessly like this.
I remember reading about the reward offered by the MPD and it just breaks my heart that no one has come forward yet with the information needed to get justice for Gregory. It makes me think about how important community vigilance really is. We often take our neighborhood’s safety for granted, but this case is a grim reminder that we need to look out for one another.
I truly hope that people who might know something, even the smallest detail, find the courage to speak up. It's a devastating situation, and his family deserves answers and closure. Keep sharing Gregory's story—someone out there has to know something that can help solve this case.
I can’t stop thinking about the poor dog Gregory was walking that night. It’s just so haunting to imagine what the dog might have witnessed or sensed during those terrifying moments. Animals can pick up on our emotions, and I can only imagine how confused and scared the dog must have been. It breaks my heart to think of the dog waiting by Gregory’s side until help arrived.
I hope whoever took care of the dog after this tragedy gave it all the love and comfort possible. Pets become family, and losing Gregory must have been difficult for the animal as well. If not for the community support for animals in such situations, imagine how much more unbearable these incidents could be.
Does anyone know if the authorities ever tried talking to witnesses who might have seen someone fleeing from the area? It’s hard to believe someone could commit such a horrendous act and just disappear into the night without anyone noticing, even in a quiet neighborhood.
