I was revisiting Virginia Wood's case, and I keep circling back to her plans to visit Cancun with Kelly and Ervin. Does anyone have more information on the inn in Matamoros where Kelly said she and Ervin were working? It seems odd to me that they'd go from working at an inn to making what sounds like a spontaneous trip to Cancun. With Kelly and Ervin being wanted at the time, I'm wondering if there's a connection to the inn that could clue us into why they'd suddenly leave or if it was just a cover story. If anyone has insights on hospitality jobs in that area around 2007 or knows more about their contacts there, your input might be invaluable.
Has anyone else looked into the details surrounding Virginia Wood's car? This seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle that's been notably missing. I've seen cases where a missing person's vehicle turns out to be a key lead, and I wonder if that's happening here too. A black 2003 Nissan Sentra isn't exactly an uncommon vehicle, but the fact that it's never been located is really baffling to me. You'd think someone would have spotted it by now, right? I mean, it traveled from North Carolina to Texas, and then potentially into Mexico, so it's possible it's changed hands multiple times. I can't help but wonder if the car is out there somewhere, maybe even with new plates or paint. What are the odds that someone in the Brownsville or Matamoros area might have seen it but didn't realize its significance? If anyone in those regions is reading this, it could be worth keeping an eye out. Thoughts?
