Has anyone else been deeply moved by the accounts of Dzemal's kids, especially his son Amel? I can't even begin to imagine the trauma that poor boy went through, being right there and witnessing the loss of his father. It's truly difficult to wrap your mind around such a senseless act and its lasting impact on the family. I read that Dzemal's daughter, Jasmina, spoke about her father’s kindness and hard work, and it just reminds us of the human stories behind these headlines. It breaks my heart that their family has to endure this pain. It makes you think about how crucial it is for society to find better ways to manage anger and aggression before it spirals out of control like this. Hoping that Dzemal's family finds strength in each other during these incredibly tough times.
