Has anyone else been following the case of Emma Lauren McCoy? I keep thinking about how difficult it must have been for Melinda to learn that her daughter was taken out of the country after they had already left. Can you imagine that feeling of helplessness? It’s like the rug was pulled out from under her feet without any warning. I've read that Michael's family initially told Melinda they were just on vacation in the Mediterranean. Do you think they genuinely believed that, or could they have been purposely misinforming her? It’s disturbing to think about how much those close to the situation might actually know but aren't sharing. If anyone’s heard more about where they might be now, whether Turkey or possibly the Netherlands, please update this thread. Emma deserves to be back home.

Has anyone else been following the Emma McCoy case? I just came across some posts about it and it's got me thinking about how challenging international cases can be. I mean, if Emma and her dad are still in Turkey or maybe even moved to the Netherlands, wouldn't it be insanely hard for the authorities to track them down? Especially since some countries don't always cooperate with each other in terms of these cases. Just wondering if anyone has insights on how these international searches usually work and what Melinda might be dealing with trying to navigate all of this? Feels like this is a major hurdle in getting Emma back home.
