Has anyone else been following the Kirby Staib case in Wardsboro? I've been thinking a lot about the role of the community in these investigations. I read that the Vermont State Police haven't shared many details yet, which makes sense as they usually keep things under wraps to protect the integrity of the investigation. But it got me wondering how local residents might be feeling. It must be so unsettling to have experienced this loss in their midst — not only losing someone who was part of their community but also having to deal with the uncertainty and fear of the unknown while the investigation continues. I can't imagine what Kirby's family and friends are going through right now, and my heart goes out to them. Has anyone heard any updates from them, or perhaps news from local community gatherings about how they are dealing with this grief? Wondering if there are any plans for a vigil or community meeting where people can come together to support one another during such a difficult time.
