Hey everyone. I keep circling back to the tragic details of David Thompson's dogs also being shot. It's such a horrible and senseless aspect of the crime. These dogs were likely his companions and I'm sure they brought him comfort. It's heartbreaking to think about the violence that was inflicted not just on David and Carol, but also on these innocent animals. I hope that in some way, justice for David and Carol includes the recognition of how senseless the loss of their lives was, as well as the loss of those animals. I can't imagine the pain and anger their loved ones must feel, knowing what happened to them. It's just a grim reminder of how far-reaching the impact of these dreadful acts can be. Thoughts?
