I've been following the case of Roberto Fonseca-Rivera closely, and something that stands out to me is how unsettling it is that the alleged shooter, Jozsef Piri, is a doctor. It's mind-boggling to think that someone who swore an oath to save lives is accused of taking one in such a violent manner. It's got to be even more shocking for Roberto’s family to grapple with. Not only are they dealing with a sudden, senseless loss, but they’re also faced with the complicated narrative around the suspect. My heart truly goes out to them—they deserve clear answers and accountability at the very least, and I can only hope that justice is served.
