This is such a sad case. I hope her father got the psychiatric care he desperately needed. It honestly sounds like Lewy body dementia. It is such a horrible disease. There needs to be so much more research about this. This disease is so bad. It warps your brain and makes you think and do awful things. Such a sinister brain rotting affliction. My heart goes out to that family.

I've been following the tragic case of Karina Rheaume, and something that really strikes me is the role of mental health in situations like this. It breaks my heart to think that this could have been prevented. It's clear that James Perry Jr. was struggling with paranoia or some deep-seated fears, especially with his claims about "gun games." I can't help but wonder if there were warning signs or moments where intervention could've changed the outcome.
It's so devastating for Karina's family and friends to lose someone in such a senseless way, particularly when she was trying to connect with her father by bringing him cookies. My thoughts go out to everyone who knew and loved Karina. I hope this case highlights the importance of monitoring mental health and having support systems in place for people who might be at risk of harming themselves or others.
