Hey everyone, I've been reading through the posts here about Terry Lee Smith's case, and I'm struck by a thought that's been lingering with me. Does anyone else think about how crucial bouncers and staff at clubs can be in situations like this? I mean, these folks are usually around during incidents, and they might have noticed something off or remember something specific from that night at the Ascot Club. It's been quite a while since that tragic night in 2005, but memories can linger, and sometimes people might recall small details later on. I feel for Terry's family and friends, who must be yearning for closure after all these years. It just seems like urging people who were employed at the club back then to come forward with any info, no matter how minor, could be an important step. Let's hope increased awareness can bring justice for Terry and peace for his loved ones. If you're reading this and you remember anything, don't hesitate to reach out to the authorities. Every bit helps. ? Stay safe, everyone.

Has anyone ever looked into the security footage from the Ascot Club that night? I find it hard to believe there would be no cameras in a downtown club, especially in a busy area like L Street NW. Even if the actual stabbing wasn't caught on camera, maybe there's footage of people entering or leaving around the time of the incident. Someone must have seen or heard something at 11:55 p.m. I'd imagine it was a pretty packed place at that hour. If anyone was there that night or has insight into what the vibe was usually like at the club, it could really help jog memories that might lead to new tips for the investigators. It’s so important to piece together any movement leading up to the moment Terry was attacked. My heart goes out to Terry’s family and anyone who knew him. They deserve answers, and it's been way too long without them. Let's help get some justice.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Terry Smith's case at the Ascot Club and wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind. There’s so much emphasis on the lack of information about the event, which I find a bit perplexing. Why is it that in such a populated area, with presumably many people around, there's so little known about the altercation that led to his passing? It makes me wonder if there was some kind of intimidation or fear among potential witnesses that’s keeping them from speaking up. Were people too shocked or scared to come forward at that time? I really feel for Terry's family who must be agonizing over this. It’s unsettling to think someone might have seen something crucial that night but is either unaware of its importance or hesitant to talk for one reason or another. Let's hope that with continued advocacy and reminders to the community, someone has a change of heart and provides the police with the missing pieces needed for this puzzle. If you were around the club that night or know someone who was, even the slightest detail might make a difference. Every bit of info can help. Terry deserves justice, and his family deserves closure. Sending positive thoughts to all those who knew and loved him.
