In the heart of Washington, D.C., on the night of December 8, 2005, a male by the name of Terry Lee Smith was inside the Ascot Club at 1708 L Street, NW. In an act of violence that shattered the late-night ambiance, he was stabbed at approximately 11:55 p.m. The following day, he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
