I've been thinking a lot about what might have happened between Juan and Kevin at the park that night. It's haunting to imagine a simple altercation escalating to such a tragic end. With alcohol involved and emotions running high, it's a reminder of how quickly situations can spiral out of control. I feel for Juan's family and friends, who must still be grappling with the senselessness of losing someone so young and full of potential. It's hard not to wonder if there were signs earlier in the night that things were getting heated. It's so important for young people to have outlets to deal with conflicts without resorting to violence. I hope this tragedy inspires efforts to provide more support and outreach in our communities, to prevent something like this from happening again.
