I can’t stop thinking about Emmanuel Plaza’s case lately. The vigil they organized last week was incredibly moving, a fitting tribute to someone who seemed to be a genuinely good soul. From what I’ve read, Emmanuel was involved in programs dedicated to improving the lives of young people in Central Falls. To lose someone who was actively trying to make a difference is such a heavy blow to the community. I’ve also been hearing some talk around town about a possible witness who was in the area that night but hasn't yet come forward. It's understandable to feel scared, but I hope they find the courage to share any information they have. On top of the grief, the uncertainty of not knowing what led to this tragedy must be unbearably difficult for Emmanuel’s family and friends. If sharing what they saw could help provide some closure or lead to an arrest, it could really make a difference. Really hoping for a breakthrough soon. The community needs some peace and reassurance that justice will prevail. If anyone knows anything at all, this is the time to speak up.
