In the spring of 2015, a young man's life was tragically cut short on the streets of New Orleans. Jermaine Kendrick Martin Jr., an 18-year-old male, was fatally wounded by gunfire on the evening of Sunday, April 26, 2015. At the time of his death, he was a graduating senior at Metro Outreach Christian Academy, with his whole life ahead of him. He was the beloved son of Jermaine Sr. and Kawanee Martin, and a cherished brother to Tawanee and Bobby Green, and Mecciah Martin.
