This case really got to me; I've been thinking a lot about the community's response. It's truly moving to see how the neighborhood has come together to support Nyeil's family and each other during such a devastating time. It's a small consolation amidst all this pain, but those vigils and gatherings show the power of community unity and love. It reminds me of how important it is to support one another, especially when faced with unspeakable tragedies. I hope that the attention and calls for more protective measures lead to real change, so we can prevent something like this from ever happening again. My heart goes out to everyone affected. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight.
