I’ve been thinking a lot about the book exchange Carl set up in his neighborhood. It's incredible how thoughtful and community-oriented he was, wanting to share something as simple but impactful as books. It seems like such a small thing, but it clearly showed his character and the kind of person he was. It’s just devastating to think that someone who brought so much light and connection to his community was struggling so much internally. I really hope his family can find some comfort in knowing how much he was appreciated and that his efforts made a positive impact on many lives. My heart goes out to them and everyone who knew him. Also, if anyone has a chance to contribute to their GoFundMe, it would be a wonderful way to honor Carl’s memory and support his family through this unimaginable time. Let’s all keep spreading kindness in whatever small ways we can. ❤️
