Has anyone else read Joe Strupp’s book about the Bowman family? I just finished it and can't stop thinking about how much Alberta and her boys went through before that tragic day. It really puts a personal spotlight on how mental health can affect entire families, even in a close-knit community like theirs. I’ve been pondering what Alberta might have been experiencing and how she tried to support her husband while managing her own fears. It's so sad to think about what she and her sons might have sensed in the days leading up to the incident. The book really opened my eyes to the importance of understanding and supporting those around us who might be struggling with mental health issues. I can't help but feel for the extended family who had to process all this while dealing with their grief. If you haven’t read it, I’d recommend giving it a look to appreciate the full depth of their story. Anyone else have thoughts after reading it?
