I've been thinking a lot about the incredible community support that emerged after Te'Ca's tragic passing. It’s truly moving to see how everyone in Pine Ridge came together to honor her life. From what I've read, the funeral service at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gymnasium was packed with people whose lives she touched. Imagine the impact she had in her just 13 years. I also saw that the local basketball team dedicated the rest of their season to her memory, and many of the players wore ribbons in her favorite colors. It's small gestures like these that remind us of the beautiful legacy someone like Te'Ca leaves behind, even if their time with us is so unjustly cut short. Her spirit lives on in every heart she touched; clearly, she was someone very special. Sending all my thoughts and support to her family and friends as they continue to navigate this unimaginable loss.
