Isn't it just devastating to think about how Elliot Jr. was taken from his family and community so suddenly? He seemed like such a vibrant and passionate person, dedicating his time to causes that mattered deeply to him. It's admirable how he used his talent as a singer to advocate against things like the Dakota Access Pipeline and support the land back movement. Not everyone has the courage to stand up for their beliefs like that. I can't imagine what his daughter, Alyssia, and son, Elliot Elias, are going through right now. Losing a parent at such a young age is incredibly hard. It’s also clear from his work and travels that Elliot touched many lives outside of his family. I hope that the memories and the impact he left behind bring some comfort to those mourning him.
